Hi,

You are absolutely right but there are a few subtle differences between each type of journalism. While this new trend called the blogging cannot atleast now be taken seriously but hope it get its weight because there are so many bloggers who want their voice heard. Enjoy Blogging…..

Great post, Nur! You raise some interesting questions. I guess journalists fight wars too, huh? Their wars are more figurative ones. They fight with word processors rather than automatic weapons. Still, they trudge on for causes they deem worthy. Damn you! You’re making my brain hurt

Nur, you’re too sweet to me Thank you for the compliments in your opening paragraphs. I don’t deserve them.

I feel like I kind of dragged wikipedia through the mud with this post, but I couldn’t help it. I think the site is a fluke. I use it when I’m lazy, not because I think it fosters the idea of community, sharing and on and on and on. It doesn’t work for me, but I respect that it does for other people. Britannica isn’t perfect, but at least I can track their contributors down. With wikipedia, I only have usernames like slutgirl18 or neonazined2007 to go by…
